We were fortunate to be able to purchase an interest in Feltons Jedi 154. This bull does many things for us, he is a trait leader for milk and milk and growth, and is proven, with progeny in herds across the U.S., and along with these positive traits, he also has heavy eye pigmentation. We look forward to using him on Red Dog 87L daughters. We will expect exceptional daughters, outstanding sons with the desirable trait of eye pigment. The next few years should be very interesting with the crossing of 87L, 666 and Jedi. Eye pigment on very desirable cattle should not be a problem. Jedi calves will be born spring 2007 and offered for sale after weaning in the fall. |
